Planning
a. Knowledge gaining: write a paragraph explaining how students will gain knowledge.
b. Knowledge organizing: write a paragraph explaining how students will organize the knowledge they gained.
c. Knowledge sharing: write a paragraph explaining how students will share the knowledge they learned.

Preparation
Explain what preparation is required before the project begins (e.g. arrange for field trip).

Planning:
1.Knowledge gaining: Students will gain knowledge of the natural hazards using several different approaches. First, students will watch a short video introducing the topic. Next, students will visit an interactive website which will allow them to learn more basic information on the topic as well as interact with the material. Then, students will use an informational website to start gathering information based on the group he/she is assigned. Lastly, students will discuss the knowledge they gained on each natural hazard.

2. Knowledge organizing: Students will work as individuals and as groups to organize thoughts, hazards, and other related information. Students will work in their 5 respectful groups to research on the topic and post it on a Google doc (Spreadsheet). Next, students will continue to collect relative information in their groups. Lastly, students will work as individuals to organize their collected data as well as learning process.

3.Knowledge sharing: First, students will share their reasearch on a Google doc (spreadsheet) in which we as a group we can compare all five natural hazards. Next, students will share as groups the research they found through Wiki spaces. Lastly, students will comment (through Blogs) on the other groups research saying what they learned as well as a question about something they did not understand.

Preparation:
1.) Teacher will have to set up video on Natural Hazards.
2.) Teacher will create a GoogleDoc spreadsheet so each group can enter their information on their assigned Natural Hazard.
3.) Teacher will create a wiki so students can share their findings with one another.
4.) Teacher will create a Jeporady game so students can have a fun way to learn about other group's Natural Hazards.
5.) Teacher will set up a blog for students to share in their findings and other relevent information.
6.) Teacher will create a Smart Board activity to ensure that students understand and comprehend.
